With entries received from Australia and New Zealand for the 3rd Annual Eagle Awards the standard was once again very high.
AND THE WINNERS ARE....
THE GOLD EAGLE: Ben Hughes - Centro Bankstown, NSW, Australia This entry used a combination of modules from the Lyn Flannery Marketing School to plan, set objectives and provide clear direction for the implementation of a major shopping centre opening and evaluation of same. Judges comment: This entry clearly showed an understanding of the marketing process needed to launch a shopping centre successfully. The entry showed a combination of well thought out strategies and tactical implementation. SILVER EAGLE: Noelene Major - Centre City, New Plymouth, New Zealand This entry used the Creative module from the Lyn Flannery Marketing School to design a community promotion based on adding value to an existing concept. Judges comment: A well planned and executed community promotion which achieved good sponsorship and excellent PR. The advertising theme was kept simple however was extremely effective. HIGH ACHIEVEMENT: Rachel O'Brien - Centro Taigum, QLD, Australia This entry used the advertising module from the Lyn Flannery Marketing School to implement a new brand process for the centre advertising. Judges commented: The process used for the evolution of the current centre marketing collateral was well thought through and the entry showed how this is now being implemented with consistency across all communication. Angela Young - Centre Place, Hamilton, New Zealand. This entry was entered in Category B and was designed around a high profile event being held in the town. Judges commented: Aligning with a major high profile super car event this activity exceeded centre objectives set for the promotion. It generated good prize sponsorship and used retailer reward to enhance their involvement. Congratulations to all the winners. |
